Position Details Role: Security Officer Access Badge Patrol Location: Seattle, WA Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour Schedule: DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, guests, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies within a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify concerns for follow-up. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and document security-related observations, incidents, and daily activities. Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations, reporting hazards, and following post orders and client-directed protocols during changing conditions. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
