The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As the Manufacturing Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: How you will make an impact Manufacturing management responsibility of all production activities in the plant. Accountable for driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and other key operational metrics Provide leadership for assigned operations by fostering cross-functional teamwork and communicating goals of the organization to employees Develops and mentors all levels of the production supervision staff. Drives operator engagement throughout the facility and encourages problem solving at all levels of the organization Own the production line output and develop execution & continuous improvement strategies to achieve high production rates Works to continuously enforce and improve daily tier processes, daily accountability boards, training, standard work, visual management and coaching. Encourages plantwide participation in continuous improvement suggestion activities Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university Engineering, Operations Management, and/or Business Administration with (7) seven years of experience in managing Manufacturing and/or Technical Services in a private, public, government or military environment AND (5) Five years' experience in a supervisory role Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Five (5) years’ experience in medical devices or related industry Work location: Onsite, Irvine, CA Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international Relocation Assistance: May be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $163,200 - $224,400, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
