Physical Therapy Assistant

The organization offers a 13-week travel contract for a Physical Therapy Assistant in Miles City, Montana, with weekly pay up to $2,100.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide skilled physical therapy assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for patients in SNF/LTC settings.
2. Implement and adjust therapy interventions to support patient mobility, strength, and functional independence.
3. Document patient progress and maintain accurate, timely records using NetHealth & Point Click Care systems.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient care and ensure treatment goals are met.
5. Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and licensing requirements throughout the assignment.

Qualifications:

• Valid PTA license issued by the state of Montana
• CPR certification
• BLS certification
• Active Montana state license
• Minimum 1 year experience in SNF/LTC settings
• Experience in small facilities considered a significant plus
• Ability to work days with varying start times
• Excellent communication skills
• Adaptability to different shift times
• Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
