Home Health Aide - Hospice

Home Health Aide

Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide.

Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.

Position Details:

• Anticipated Status/Shift: Full Time (40 hours/week) Day Shift (Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM)
• Position Location: Sentara Hospice Services - Newport News, VA
• Pay Range: $15.75 - $20.46/hour

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.

Education:

• No specific education requirements

Certification/Licensure:

• CNA (Required)
• First Aid Basics Certification (Required)
• BLS (Required within 90 days of hire)

Experience:

• Previous Customer Service Experience (Required)
• Prior Hospice experience (Preferred)
