Team OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Fairfield, CT by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.77 Split
- +$0.05 CPM Safety & productivity bonus split
- +$0.02 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
- Home time: 3 weeks out, 3 nights at home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150

Key Tasks:
- Collaborate on long-haul routes with 5,000 miles weekly average
- Safely transport HAZMAT with full regulatory compliance
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections and maintain logs
You’ll drive trucks under three years old equipped with sleepers, APUs, and inverters, supported by onsite maintenance. With competitive mileage pay, performance bonuses, biweekly home time, and full medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) benefits, HMD puts drivers first.
