Project Engineer - Instrumentation Design Engineering (Onsite)

Location: US-CT-MIDDLETOWN-220A ~ Aircraft Rd ~ BLDG 220A Role Type: Onsite Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required for a DoD Confidential clearance; active clearance required after day 1. What You Will Do Development of Basis of Estimates (BOE) for commercial and government proposals. Provide project management to the Integrated Product Team (IPT). Manage program/task budgets, schedules, and procurement of the designed instrumentation hardware. Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans as needed. Lead cross‑disciplinary teams and communicate with internal and external customers to ensure task requirements are met. Travel up to 10% of the time. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in STEM. 5 years of project engineering or mechanical engineering experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience. U.S. citizenship required for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer Experience with Project Management toolsets (e.g., Agile, SAP, Primavera, or MS Project). Demonstrated leadership of engineering teams, budgets, and schedules. Ability to solve technical problems with minimal direction. Understanding of standard manufacturing methods. Effective interface with internal and external customers. Active security clearance. What We Offer Employee Scholar Program. Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
