Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Afternoon Patroller in Chino, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to support daily operations through strong customer service, communication, and teamwork while reflecting a caring culture built on reliability, integrity, and innovation.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify security-related concerns and/or operational issues.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, verifying credentials and directing people according to location procedures.
- Support loss prevention efforts by observing freight movement, trailer activity, and restricted areas, reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations to help deter unauthorized access.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
