Structures Superintendent - Long Bridge South ProjectTrumbull CorporationTrumbull Corporation is seeking an experienced Structures Superintendent to help lead field operations on Long Bridge South project, a major Design-Build rail infrastructure project over the Potomac River connecting Arlington, VA and Washington, D.C. The project expands a critical national rail corridor from two to four tracks, separating CSXT freight and Amtrak/VRE passenger rail, and includes a new bicycle-pedestrian bridge connecting Long Bridge Park to D.C.'s Potomac Parks. Work takes place adjacent to live rail traffic and over water, with the new structure designed for a 100-year service life.What You'll DoPlan crew activities, equipment, and materials with the Project SuperintendentCoordinate with other Superintendents for efficient labor and equipment useReview plans pre-construction to flag errors and cost-saving opportunitiesOversee budgets and monitor safety compliance, including around live rail and marine workCoordinate with Project Engineers on material delivery timingSupervise Foremen to ensure safe, on-spec, on-budget workManage Change Orders and document Extra Work with Foremen and Project ManagerWhat You Bring12+ years of heavy civil/highway construction experienceStrong bridge and concrete structure construction backgroundProficient in plan reading, forming systems, and concrete placement methodsMarine construction experience preferredAbility to adjust methods when safety or budget targets are at riskHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong communicator with experience working alongside inspectors and ownersWhy TrumbullIndustry Leader: Consistently ranked a Top 100 Builder nationally by Engineering News-Record - you'll work for a company that builds at scale and has the reputation to prove it.Proven Track Record: Building major infrastructure across the Mid-Atlantic region since 1979.
