Phlebotomist I - 1st Shift

Phlebotomy Technician

Pay Range: $17hr - $21hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric blood collection.
• Ability to provide accurate and error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Keyboard and data entry experience required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Experience:

• One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience in forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing preferred.
• Experience in customer service within retail or service environments preferred.
• Experience maintaining records and documentation accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen collection activities accurately and on time.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Follow established procedures for clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
• Promote a safe, clean, and professional environment.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and positive interactions with patients, clients, and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• Support staffing needs including alternate schedules, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call requirements as needed.
