Full-Time CT/X-Ray Technologist

Full-time CT/X-Ray Technologist responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment. Works in a collaborative environment within a reputable healthcare facility in Akron, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety throughout all imaging processes
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately in electronic medical records
• Assist with contrast injections and monitor patients for reactions
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret images
• Maintain compliance with safety, radiation protection, and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
• Valid Ohio Radiologic License
• BLS certification required

Preferred Skills:

• ARRT (CT) certification preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified period
• At least 1 year of experience in both CT and X-ray imaging preferred
