About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Commercial Banking Group. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for new loan facility structuring, underwriting, closing, and ongoing portfolio management for a specific client segment. This role does not involve new business development but requires early-stage discussions with prospective clients and selling the company's proposal. Key responsibilities include structuring, negotiating, underwriting, and closing loan requests, conducting full-scope financial analysis, and actively engaging with clients to address financial situations and ensure they are informed of the bank's credit outlook. The role demands a professional with a dedicated work ethic, the ability to work well under pressure, and a process-oriented approach to key job responsibilities. Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company should have a background in commercial lending, with a focus on borrowing base and experience in structuring and negotiating complex loan facilities. The role requires an individual with an intermediate to advanced skill set in Excel and other Microsoft Office products, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop trusted relationships with the client base.
