Registered Dental Hygienist - Cambridge Dentistry
Cambridge Dentistry is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! We're seeking a compassionate, patient-focused hygienist who is dedicated to providing excellent clinical care and creating a positive experience for every patient.
This is a flexible opportunity with full-time hours available through a combination of the days listed below. Wednesday and Friday schedules will become available as the practice adds a doctor.
Schedule
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (opening in the future)
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (opening in the future)
- Every Other Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (optional)
We are open to different combinations of these days to create a full-time schedule that works for both the hygienist and the practice.
Hygiene Appointment Times
- New Patient Exams: 60 or 90 minutes
- Existing Patient Exams: 60 minutes
Our appointment times allow hygienists to provide thorough, personalized care while focusing on patient education and building strong patient relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care
- Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing as needed
- Complete oral health assessments and document findings accurately
- Take digital radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Build strong relationships with patients through compassionate, high-quality care
- Collaborate with the doctor and dental team
- Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Michigan
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Passion for patient care and education
- Ability to work collaboratively with a dental team
- Reliable, professional, and patient-focused
