Patient Services Coordinator Highlights

• The pay for this position is $22.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
• Onsite position (Denton, TX 76201)
• This position is a  Temporary role (coverage for someone on leave)

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients/visitors; notify clinical staff of patient arrival
• Provide/collect paperwork; proof for completeness; file forms and maintain charts
• Update patient demographics and insurance information in the system
• Answer/screen calls; route appropriately; take and relay accurate messages; page staff as needed
• Check out patients and schedule/reschedule appointments; document cancellations/no-shows and notify staff
• Collect co-pays and balances at time of service; provide receipts
• Maintain lobby area and keep forms/office supplies stocked
• Follow confidentiality requirements and HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 18+ months of medical front office / receptionist experience (insurance forms + scheduling software) (required)
• Proficient with computers and  Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (required)
• Comfortable working in a  busy clinic environment and able to learn quickly (preferred)
