About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership for its multi-site manufacturing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of functions, including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, safety, and continuous improvement. This executive-level role demands the ability to translate business objectives into operational priorities, improve performance, and build the necessary systems, processes, and leadership capabilities to support the company's growth. Key responsibilities for the VP of Operations include developing and executing operational strategies, leading various functions, establishing KPIs, driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives, and ensuring the adoption of advanced technologies. The role also involves strengthening quality systems, supporting capacity planning, and building a high-performing operations leadership team. Applicants for the VP of Operations position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related discipline, and have a minimum of 8 years' progressive operations leadership experience, preferably at a senior or executive level. Strong experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, as well as a proven track record in implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, is essential. The role requires a leader with a strong business and financial acumen, the ability to manage change, and a commitment to safety, quality, customer service, and operational excellence. Experience in scaling a growing organization, leading multi-site operations, and working with ERP systems is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a background in production planning, scheduling, quality systems, supply chain, and operational performance management, and be adept at building teams and developing leaders.
