Job Summary

Dallastown Medical Associates is a private family practice in Dallastown, PA. We are a professional, fast-paced office and our goal is to provide quality healthcare to our patients. We are looking for a highly motivated, positive, flexible Medical Assistant with a minimum of 5 years clinical and family practice experience. Full time 35-40 hours a week. Schedule includes one evening per week and rotating Saturday mornings. Medical Assistant certification is required after 3 months of employment, if candidate is not already certified. Depending on experience, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Prepare for the patient visit, by taking vital signs, checking in patients, medication reconciliation, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment

Clean instruments and equipment after use

Vaccine and medication administration

Venipuncture, specimen collecting, and CLIA waived testing

Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs

Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures

Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties

Qualifications

BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired

Excellent customer service skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to stay calm in emergent situations

Flexibility with scheduling
