Project Engineer

Seeking a Project Engineer to join growing team and support a variety of solid waste and environmental infrastructure projects, including landfills, landfill gas systems, composting facilities, and related site development projects. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer who enjoys technical problem-solving, fieldwork, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Apply engineering principles to the planning, design, and execution of solid waste and environmental projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, permit applications, and construction documents.
• Develop site layouts, grading plans, utility designs, and facility drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Design and support landfill systems, gas collection infrastructure, stormwater management, and related site improvements.
• Coordinate project tasks, manage schedules, and communicate with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct field investigations, site visits, and inspections in varying terrain and weather conditions.
• Support business development activities through proposal preparation, client engagement, and industry events.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or solid waste facility design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong technical writing, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Landfill design and permitting.
• Landfill gas collection and gas pipeline systems.
• Site development and land development projects.
• Stormwater and wastewater systems.
• Facility design, soil mechanics, and environmental permitting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Bedford, TX.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bedford,TX.
