General Surgery Physician - Wilson, NC | Locum & Ongoing Opportunity Looking for a reliable, skilled General Surgery provider to join a leading facility in Wilson, NC. Location: 1705 Tarboro Street Southwest, Wilson, NC 27893 Start Date: 07/18/2026 End Date: Late December 2026 (anticipated) Shift: M-F, standard hours, additional on-call required Hours/week: 40+ Employment Type: Contract/Locum License/Certifications: Active North Carolina medical license, board certified or eligible in Surgery Experience: Prior experience in General Surgery preferred; GI capabilities highly desired Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (payment details discussed upon application) Pay Schedule: Weekly via direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with legal requirements Robust referral bonus program Licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements when applicable 24/7 support from our dedicated team to ensure your success What You'll Do Perform general surgical procedures and cover on-call responsibilities Provide patient assessments, pre-operative and post-operative care Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards Participate in on-site call and emergency coverage as needed Adhere to all safety and compliance protocols What You Need Active North Carolina medical license Proven experience in General Surgery; GI skills preferred Ability to perform the required procedures and handle call duties Clean professional background and excellent communication skills About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Wilson, North Carolina, dedicated to providing quality healthcare services.
