We are currently looking for a Part Time 29 Poker Dealer to join our team located at Riverwind Casino.

Summary: Provide excellent customer service and efficient table games service to guests in accordance with company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types
• Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner

• Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
• Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
• Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment
• Maintains and promotes professionalism
• Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
• Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
• Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
• Runs chips for players and fills for table banks by partnering with the Chip Cage Cashier, game players, and the dealer to determine the amount of money and chips that are needed
• Sets up all required games by verifying that all money is present in the table banks when opening and closing the table and all table documents are signed by the supervisor and the dealer then released to the Poker room manager or locked in the table bank
• Verifies all cards are present and are not damaged; checks to ensure shuffle machine is in working condition
• Runs the Poker board to seat players accordingly, including greeting patrons when they approach the board, taking patron sign-ups and seating patrons as seats are available to the game of their interest, promoting upcoming Poker events as they are relayed to the team by management, and taking incoming phone calls from patrons and signing them up for the games requested using our computer system
• Calculates wagers in the pot, observe patrons' actions and identifies irregular or illegal behavior including theft and collusion while dealing. Properly takes house collection in compliance with rules and regulations
• Reports all tips in accordance with area policies, processes and guidelines
• Prepares players by explaining the procedures and rules that are outlined in the Chickasaw Gaming Rules and Regulations policies of all required games
• Performs all other duties as assigned
