Role Overview This is an Role Overview This is an entry-level apprentice position focused on training in aircraft structural assembly. The role involves working under supervision to perform fitting, drilling, riveting, and assembly operations using basic hand tools, following work orders, blueprints, and specifications. The apprentice will develop skills in aligning and assembling parts, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and gaining proficiency in manufacturing processes related to aircraft maintenance and production. Key Responsibilities Perform basic structural assembly tasks as instructed Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications Use hand tools such as pneumatic drills, rivet guns, and files Ensure parts meet instructions and quality standards Assist with fitting and fastening parts using fixtures and fasteners Observe safety and housekeeping practices Participate in a structured development program to attain full proficiency as a structural mechanic Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Basic math skills and ability to read technical documents Effective communication skills in English Proficiency with computer software Ability to lift objects up to 40 pounds and work any shift Professional attitude and teamwork skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
