Registered Nurse - PICU

$1836.00/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized pediatric intensive care to critically ill children in a fast-paced hospital environment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care and support families during challenging times. Responsibilities: Administer advanced nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU, including IV starts, central line dressing changes, and ventilator management. Monitor and document patient hemodynamics, ICP levels, and responses to treatments using Cerner system. Perform procedures such as caths, LPs, trach care, and tube feed placements according to physician orders and protocols. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines. Assist in training and supporting new staff and float to related units as needed. Qualifications: Current registered nurse (RN) license with valid credentials. Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience in a hospital setting. Certification in PALS required. Proven ability to perform advanced pediatric nursing procedures. Strong documentation skills and experience with Cerner or similar EHR systems. Ability to work 13-week assignment with flexibility to float to Peds and NICU.
