TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Mother Baby RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73104!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Mother Specialty: Baby Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required. License: Current RN License issued by the state board of nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required. Must-Have: Level 1 experience. Description: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments. Notes all changes in physician orders for assigned patients. Assists physician in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments. Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients; observes physiological manifestations and intervenes when necessary. Administers medication as prescribed, initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products. Delivers patient care competently. Interacts with family and patient in sharing care plan during hospitalization and at discharge. Informs patient and family of hospital procedures. Makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. Delegates tasks to support staff. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures required. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services. Maintains good working relationships with other employees. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential. Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. Some computer skills are preferred. Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required. Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from an accredited program is preferred. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: None.
