Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 10 months of Respiratory Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local&travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health&Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health&Services.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:NICU and adult experience required - will cover both units.Formal NICU training and at least 1 year of NICU experience are required for NICU coverage.
Preferred Skills/Experience:Teaching hospital experience is preferred.Community hospital experience is preferred.Experience with Avea preferred.
Required Credentials:Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests:RTO must be listed at time of submission.References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.All positions at Providence Health&Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.You must be able to complete labs within48 hours of signing.
Unit Details:Covers ICU, Level II Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical Department, and Level II NICU.Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
Shift&Scheduling:Every other weekend (Friday + Saturday or Saturday + Sunday).Please be flexible with availability as this is a small department.
Floating Requirements:May float to other Swedish facilities.
5 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
