Salary: $55,000-60,000 Job Summary As a Patient Services Supervisor, you will support the successful operation and customer service of the Food & Nutrition Services Department. This role offers an entry-level management pathway into the food service industry for an energetic professional. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures patient and client satisfaction by meeting and exceeding stated expectations. Provides alternatives to menu within prescribed diets, considering allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences when needed. Interacts with nursing staff and evaluates daily patient meal selection, tray completion, delivery, and retrieval processes. Resolves patient concerns or complaints promptly or reports them to the supervisor as appropriate. Supports all food service activities, primarily involved in patient meal assembly and delivery, including quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and facility-related activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2 years of food service experience. Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, or related food service operations. Knowledge of food trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation. Supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with management, clients, customers, and staff. Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet. ServSafe Certification is preferred.
