Ideal candidates have experience providing Special Education instruction and services to adolescent-aged students within the secondary school setting. Ideal Candidates: Licensed in Moderate Disabilities 5-12 SEI Endorsement Classroom experience within the secondary setting Knowledge of and experience with completing and analyzing academic evaluation assessments (e.g., WIAT-4, GORT-5, etc.) Knowledge of special education law and policy Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills Responsibilities include: Creating a positive learning environment for students within the co-taught and Learning Strategies settings that align with Universally Designed Learning (UDL) standards. Collaborating with the Special Education Coordinator to support instruction and to ensure the delivery of services is in alignment with the student’s service delivery grid.
