If you are experienced in venipuncture and specimen collection, this position provides a stable, ongoing assignment with consistent hours and a professional environment.Facilitate the collection, processing, and shipping of blood and urine specimensPerform venipuncture to collect blood specimens efficiently and safelyObserve and collect urine specimens from patients, including observed and supervised collectionsProperly identify patients before specimen collection following departmental policiesLabel and document specimens accurately and prepare them for shipmentDemonstrate excellent customer service and compassion when interacting with patients, physicians, and clinic staffCommunicate effectively with a diverse patient populationFollow Universal Precautions and OSHA standards when handling specimensStrictly adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentialityInform supervisors of low-volume shifts, unusual issues, or deviations from established proceduresMaintain neat, clean, and organized patient and work areasManage office and processing supplies as neededMinimum of 6 months of recent venipuncture experience in a hospital, lab, or clinical environmentProven ability to provide excellent customer service in a medical settingReliable work ethic with consistent attendance and punctualityStrong computer skills, including managing multiple programs, email, and report generationFast, accurate data entry skillsClear and confident communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleaguesNo new graduates; minimum of 6 months of recent hands-on experience requiredCertification in phlebotomy or equivalent preferredAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsPhysical capability to perform frequent walking, sitting, bending, lifting, and other activities involved in specimen collectionSchedule: Monday-Friday, 5 am to 1 pm, totaling 40 hours per weekExperience in urine drug screen collections and venipuncture within hospital or lab environments is highly desirableThis position provides a vital service in laboratory testing and patient care, offering a rewarding opportunity for skilled phlebotomists to contribute to healthcare excellence.About Us: All Medical Personnel streamlines hiring to get you back to the work you love.
