Payroll Specialist (Paycor/Paychex)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist proficient in Paycor and Paychex platforms to join our team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll using Paycor and Paychex systems. Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes. Ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws and regulations. Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve payroll issues promptly. Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports. Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate payroll data. Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 and 1099 preparation. Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and employee data. Qualifications 1-2 Years proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role. Proficiency with Paycor and Paychex payroll systems is required. Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
