EHS Manager

Shirley Parsons is working with an excavation and infrastructure services company to add an Environmental Health Safety & Sustainability Program Manager to their team. This person will be expected to drive continuous enhancement of EHSS program performance through consistent implementation, adherence to standards, and ongoing evaluation. You will be travelling 40% of the time to various sites in the Midwest region, with a focus on building relationships with teams in the field, and driving a positive and compliant culture. The Role: Supports the implementation of applicable regulatory changes and effectively communicates updates to employees. Promotes consistent implementation of the safety program across all levels of the organization, including EHSS professionals, employees, and stakeholders. Partners with operations leadership through consulting, coaching, and mentoring to ensure program execution meets strategic performance objectives set by leadership. Champions a culture of safety across the assigned area while reinforcing standards throughout the organization. The Candidate: BS in Health and Safety or related field is preferred. 5+ years of EHS experience within the construction industry. Excavation or utility experience a plus. Professional safety certifications (e.g., ASP, CSP) are a plus. Must be willing to travel. Strong problem solving skills and ability to communicate with every level of an organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr
