Job Summary A legal services organization in Irvine, CA is seeking a Controller for a direct hire opportunity. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and help strengthen internal controls across the firm. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who enjoys both hands‑on technical accounting and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Lead monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Prepare financial statements, perform account reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger. Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal accounting policies, and established financial controls. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, audit coordination, and tax preparation. Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members while identifying process improvement opportunities. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
