Accounting ManagerDuluth, GAHybrid: In-Office 3 daysThe Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the execution of accounting processes for critical areas of the business including General Ledger, Rebates, Leases, Accounts Payable, Legal, and P&L Reviews. This role reports to the Senior Director of Accounting and coordinates daily team activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The Accounting Manager is a hands-on, player-coach who leads a team of Senior Accountants and offshore resources while remaining closely involved in the month-end close and day-to-day accounting operations. The role partners cross-functionally to improve processes, strengthen controls, and reduce manual work through better use of systems and Excel.Role & ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of Senior Accountants and offshore resources through the month-end close processReview and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysisOwn key accounting areas including GL, rebates, leases, and operational accounting processesProvide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysisAnalyze financial data and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual workEnsure proper documentation and compliance for all financial transactionsReview and enhance balance sheet reconciliations and assist in resolving discrepanciesDrive standardization across financial processesEnsure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and SOX requirementsSupport audit activities and collaborate with FP&A, Operations, and cross-functional teamsParticipate in system enhancements and process improvement initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum of 5 years of accounting experienceMinimum of 2 years managing Senior Accountants or equivalent professional-level staffStrong ownership of month-end close including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reportingProven ability to improve processes and reduce manual workStrong Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysisExperience in multi-entity or complex accounting environmentsKnowledge of GAAP and internal controlsEmploybridge offers a competitive base salary plus monthly bonus potential! This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
