We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Physical Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves evaluating and treating disorders affecting human movement across a diverse patient population, from newborns to geriatrics.

Essential Responsibilities

• Adhere to established mission, vision, and values while maintaining compliance with HIPAA privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with patients, their representatives, healthcare team members, contractors, physicians, peers, external agencies, and the public.
• Perform duties within the scope of practice as defined by the relevant licensing board.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care according to unit and department competencies, policies, and procedures.
• Accurately assess patient needs and develop, implement, review, and maintain comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education to patients regarding physical aspects of their care.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational policies.
• Offer clinical oversight to Physical Therapy Assistants.

General Responsibilities

Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not include supervisory or management responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education meeting licensure requirements at the time of issuance.
• Current licensure in Physical Therapy through the appropriate state licensing board.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting state requirements if the position requires driving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar healthcare environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of Physical Therapy principles.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements

This role involves medium work, occasionally exerting up to 50 pounds and frequently up to 10 pounds. Approximately 26-50% of the workday may involve standing or walking. Accommodations may be provided as needed.
