Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Observation

About This Role The Med/Surg Observation Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment focused on short-stay evaluation and acute medical needs. This role is ideal for RNs who are dedicated to delivering excellent clinical and operational outcomes. Highlights Pay: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience Location: Johnson City, NY Facility: UHS Wilson Medical Center Department/Unit: North Tower 2 Cardiac Telemetry Schedule: Part-time, Rotating Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 for eligible candidates What You'll Do Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients. Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management. Administer medications safely according to United Health Services policy. Share responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization. Comply with nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and UHS policies. Participate in and support the Nursing Shared Governance Model. Engage in professional development and complete mandatory education requirements. Integrate nursing research and current evidence into practice. Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students. Perform other duties as assigned.
