Furnitureland South, the World’s Largest Furniture Store, is looking for a talented recruiter who knows how to find great salespeople.

Our Sales & Design Consultants are at the heart of the customer experience, and finding exceptional talent for this team is a significant business priority. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist – Sales & Design who is energized by identifying high-potential candidates, building relationships, and recruiting sales professionals who can thrive in a relationship-driven, performance-focused environment.

This is not a “post the position and wait” recruiting role. We are looking for someone who enjoys actively sourcing talent, networking, building pipelines, and engaging candidates who may not be actively looking for their next opportunity.

The ideal candidate has experience recruiting successful sales professionals, particularly for commission-based, luxury, high-end retail, design, or consultative sales environments.

What You’ll Own

Sales & Design Talent Acquisition

Your primary responsibility will be building a strong and sustainable pipeline of Sales & Design Consultant talent.

You will:

\n
• Proactively identify, source, and recruit high-performing sales professionals through LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, social media, industry connections, and direct outreach .
\n
• Build relationships with passive candidates and develop talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
\n
• Recruit professionals from industries with transferable skills, including luxury retail, interior design, real estate, automotive sales, jewelry, home furnishings, hospitality, and other consultative sales environments.
\n
• Partner closely with sales leadership to understand hiring needs, candidate profiles, and evolving talent priorities.
\n
• Screen and assess candidates for sales capability, relationship-building skills, motivation, professionalism, and alignment with our customer experience.
\n
• Manage candidates through the recruiting process while maintaining consistent communication and creating an exceptional candidate experience.
\n
• Represent Furnitureland South at career fairs, industry events, colleges and universities, networking events, and community organizations.
\n
• Develop creative sourcing strategies that expand our reach beyond traditional applicants and job boards.
\n

Beyond Sales Recruiting

While sales recruiting will be your primary focus, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to broader talent and HR initiatives, including:

• Recruiting for other positions as business needs arise.
\n
• Employer branding and recruitment marketing.
\n
• Social media recruiting initiatives.
\n
• Employee engagement and retention efforts.
\n
• Talent development initiatives.
\n
• Other strategic HR projects and programs.
\n

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who approaches recruiting with curiosity, urgency, persistence, and strong relationship-building skills.

The successful candidate will bring:

• 2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, executive search, or related experience.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to proactively source candidates rather than relying primarily on applicants.
\n
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
\n
• Experience recruiting sales professionals, ideally in a commission-based, luxury, retail, design, or consultative sales environment.
\n
• Confidence engaging passive candidates and creating interest in career opportunities.
\n
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
\n
• Strong organization and follow-through while managing multiple candidates and searches.
\n
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms preferred.
\n
