Leasing Manager

As a Leasing Manager you will oversee the leasing and move‑in processes for new construction communities, ensuring 100% occupancy within established timeframes. You will manage marketing, advertising, community outreach, and the entire leasing lifecycle. Responsibilities Generate qualified traffic and document all inquiries and denials. Plan and implement marketing events and utilize social media and other online sources. Visit competitive properties and prepare competition reports. Communicate professionally with clients, investors, community leaders, and staff. Manage application paperwork and compliance processes. Process applications, review credit/criminal screenings, and achieve high approval rates. Prepare and implement timely move‑in procedures. Ensure resident applications are processed in a timely manner in accordance with company policy. Review and prepare for approval of new or existing resident applications and certifications. Maintain excellent client relations by working directly with site staff as needed. Review supporting financial documentation such as bank statements, pay stubs, and retirement statements. Identify irregularities in case documents and on site, communicating findings to supervisors. Follow up and multitask to ensure successful completion of files within tight deadlines. Adhere to defined procedures, guidelines, and performance standards. Requirements Ability to multi‑task at a high level. Ability to develop effective solutions to problems or situations. Excellent communication skills via email, Microsoft Teams, and telephone. Proficient understanding of the English language and accurate usage of grammar and punctuation. Comfortable working in a consistently deadline‑oriented environment that requires a true sense of urgency. 1+ year leasing, property management, hospitality, or retail experience is a plus. Sales and marketing skill set, entrepreneurial spirit, organized with attention to detail. Flexibility with schedule. Proficiency in technology, i.e., Microsoft Office products and social media. Must have a personal vehicle available for travel. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay and benefits package including health, dental, life insurance, and paid vacation. Quarterly incentive plan after the first full quarter of employment. Bonus program and monthly goal incentive program with gift card rewards. Travel & Living Expenses 100% travel required (overnight). All travel-related expenses are covered. Utilities/Cable internet, gas card, mileage reimbursed, and airfare covered.
