Survey Technician

Role Description Arcadis seeks a Survey Technician to join our Survey team to execute field-related assignments under the direction of a Survey Crew Chief. You should have a valid driver’s license and have superior communication skills with a detail-oriented approach. Ideally you will be based out of the Columbus, OH area with the ability to work on projects around the state of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Role Accountabilities Work on projects located in open fields, wooded areas with varying terrain and construction sites. Compile notes, sketches and records of data obtained in the field. Develop solid knowledge and experience with the operation of all surveying equipment, including automatic levels, robotic total stations, data collectors and GPS equipment. Work with other survey crew members who will help train and develop skills. Maintain a focus on safety in the field. Qualifications & Experience Required Qualifications Valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent. Key Attributes Good math background. Prompt, dependable and flexible for success in this full‑time position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
