Lead Cashier

Overview The Liquor Store 7715 Dublin Blvd Colorado Springs, CO 80923 Sales Associate – Full-Time Positions Available We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and responsible Lead Cashier who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is ready to take on additional leadership responsibilities in our busy liquor store. Responsibilities Greet customers and deliver the highest level of customer service. Assist customers in finding products and making selections. Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register. Stock merchandise and maintain a clean, organized sales floor. Train, supervise, and schedule cashier staff. Step in as shift leader when management is not present. Handle daily cash reconciliation and end-of-shift reporting. Resolve customer concerns and ensure smooth store operations. Assist with inventory counts and receiving shipments when needed. Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older. Minimum 1 year of retail experience required (liquor/store retail preferred). Proven cash-handling experience with excellent accuracy. Strong computer skills (POS systems, basic Excel/Google Sheets, scheduling software). Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience (preferably supervising cashiers or front-end teams). Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to lead by example. Verifiable professional references required. Ability to train, coach, and hold team members accountable. All standard cashier physical requirements: Able to lift 50+ pounds and physically bend, stoop, lift, climb, carry, walk, and reach frequently. Able to spend up to 100% of shift standing or moving around the store. Excellent verbal communication, basic math, and reading skills. Flexible availability – must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented.
