Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with Patients: Handle incoming billing inquiries and assist patients with payment collection over the phone, ensuring a positive experience.
• Navigate Insurance Processes:Skillfully appeal denials and submit medical records to various insurance companies, advocating for our patients' needs.
• Manage Accounts Receivable:Proactively follow up on aged accounts receivable, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Provide In-Office Support: Address patient billing issues, concerns, and questions while they are in the office, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
• Claims Submission: Efficiently mail primary and secondary claims on a daily basis to ensure prompt processing and reimbursement.

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in insurance reimbursement is REQUIRED .

Skills:

• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of medical terminology to communicate clearly with patients and team members.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient interaction.
• Familiarity with cancer care agents and pharmacology of cytotoxic and immunologic agents is a plus.
• Proficient in using computers and electronic medical records, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt to changing conditions.
