Family Law Paralegal - Tampa

Position Overview Melone Hatley is seeking a full‑time Paralegal to join our family law team. The position serves as an administrative and legal support to the firm’s Family Law Attorneys and works closely with the supervising attorney. It involves direct contact and communication with clients, preparing legal documents and pleadings for court, organizing client portfolios, analyzing discovery documents and financial data, and handling essential administrative tasks such as document preparation, dictation, filing, and proofreading correspondence. Key Responsibilities Performs administrative and client service functions. Conducts basic research. Assists with drafting and completing necessary documentation. Assists with the filing of legal documents. Assists with the management of databases and files. Communicates regularly with clients. Assists with other essential functions as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Prior Family Law experience, preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail oriented. Good organizational, time‑management, and customer service skills. Ability to work well independently. Willingness and curiosity to learn. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Associate’s degree in Studies or a related field, required.
