Senior Project Manager

Our client, based in Cheshire, Connecticut, is a well-established, family-owned construction management and general contracting firm with decades of experience delivering high-quality projects across the state. Key Responsibilities Oversee all phases of project management including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and closeout. Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Lead project teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and accountability. Manage and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met. Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and submittals. Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies. Mentor and support the development of junior staff. Participate in business development efforts, including client presentations and proposal support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years of progressive construction project management experience , including large-scale or complex commercial, institutional, or healthcare projects. Proven ability to lead multi-million-dollar projects from preconstruction to completion. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams. Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
