Senior Accountant

We're looking for aSenior Accountant to join our fast-growing, private equity-backed company as we scale our finance operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real ownership, exposure across the accounting function, and a seat on a close-knit, fun team that's building something new together in our Miami Lakes office. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute monthly and annual close processes Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations and general ledger activity Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules Analyze variances and provide insights to management Lead internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules Assist with payroll processing, reconciliations, and related reporting Support treasury functions, including cash management, bank reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting Assist with ASC 842 lease accounting, including lease schedules, right-of-use assets, and lease liabilities Support the design, documentation, and monitoring of internal controls Coordinate with cross-functional teams on financial matters Assist with system implementations, process improvements, and special projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience Solid working knowledge of U.S. GAAP; exposure to ASC 842 a plus Experience with ERP/accounting systems Strong Excel skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Why Join Us Fast-growing, private equity-backed company with real opportunity for growth and increasing responsibility Collaborative culture and a genuinely fun, close-knit team Based in our Miami Lakes office #J-18808-Ljbffr Socket.dev
