Serves as the first point of contact for employees and supervisors seeking information on routine, non-precedent-setting labor management and employee relations (LMER) rules, procedures, and rights. Assist senior specialists by gathering, organizing, and analyzing documentation, evidence, and timelines for basic employee relations cases (e.g., performance issues, attendance problems, and minor misconduct). Conduct a wide range of negotiation procedures and techniques, advocacy, mediation, interest-based bargaining, and other problem-solving approaches to resolve problems.
