Diesel Mechanic Assistant/Laborer

Perform manual physical duties required to maintain buildings and grounds such as loading and unloading supplies, moving equipment, shoveling dirt, sand and gravel, etc. General Duties Perform manual physical duties required to maintain buildings and grounds such as loading and unloading supplies, moving equipment, shoveling dirt, sand and gravel, etc. Assist Diesel Mechanics with service to vehicles and off-site service calls as needed. Assist mechanics when welding as needed on trucks, trailers or other equipment. Operate hand tools and power tools. Help maintain inventory of any supplies and parts, informing management of parts needed to be ordered. Assist with maintaining written records for any repairs completed on equipment.
