Assistant Manager – LaRosa's Pizzeria

At LaRosa's, our Assistant Managers are the heartbeat of the shift — the person who keeps things running smoothly, keeps the team motivated, and makes sure every Guest leaves happy. What You'll Do
- Step into the GM's shoes when they're out — real responsibility, real impact.
- Lead and support a team of 5–40 Team Members per shift.
- Keep service fast, friendly, and guest-focused.
- Build schedules that keep the restaurant running like clockwork.
- Make sure every pizza that goes out meets LaRosa's quality standards.
- Help hire, onboard, and train the next great Team Members.
- Handle opening/closing procedures and day-to-day cash and inventory management.
- Coach your team with feedback that actually helps them grow.
- Jump into any role when the team needs backup — you lead by example.
- Keep things organized with clear, consistent documentation.
- Be the go-to person for guest questions, concerns, or issues — and solve them the LaRosa's way.
What You Bring
- 1+ year of restaurant experience.
- High school diploma or GED (college coursework in management, accounting, or finance is a plus).
- Strong communication skills — with guests, teammates, and management alike.
- A knack for solving problems on the fly.
- Comfort with basic math and handling payments.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and stay flexible.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for extended periods, and stay active on your feet (bending, reaching, kneeling — this job keeps you moving).
- Must be 18+ and eligible to become ServSafe certified.

Kitchens are hot, busy, and occasionally loud — that's the nature of great pizza. Non-slip shoes are required for everyone's safety. Some driving may be required for opening/closing duties.
