Step into a rewarding contract opportunity dedicated to supporting K-12 students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist. This role offers the chance to make a real impact, working with a diverse pediatric caseload in an educational setting. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students develop essential communication skills and reach their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set measurable goals.
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams on student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation as required by school standards.
- Provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication strategies when appropriate.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous pediatric and/or school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Understanding of school-based documentation and IEP processes
- Ability to work effectively across K-12 age groups
Job Details:
- Contract position with a start date as soon as possible, running through May 2027
- Commitment: 2 days per month (16 total days during the 2026/2027 school year)
- Work with a range of K-12 students within the school setting
- Pay: Earn a competitive rate of $45 per hour, paid weekly
