Aerospace Medicine Physician

Aerospace Medicine physician job in Texas : Duties: - Provides aerospace medical care to flyers, missile crews, and others with special standards of medical qualifications. - Evaluates and medically clears patients for Aeromedical Evacuation. - Provides clinical and administrative leadership to the Flight Medicine Primary Care Manager (PCM) team. - Guide, counsel and oversees Primary Care Manager (PCM) team personnel to include physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical technicians, and administrative personnel. - Participate in continuing education programs. - Actively participates and contributes to medical oversight activities to include peer review programs. - Participate in local disaster training exercises as directed by the Chief of the Medical Staff (SGH) or Medical Group Commander. - Performs Other Duties as Assigned
