Litigation Legal Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for a well-established law firm in Jacksonville, Florida. This position will support a busy litigation practice with a strong emphasis on insurance defense matters. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of litigation legal assistant experience, including experience supporting attorneys in insurance defense cases. Responsibilities Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation Prepare, draft, revise, and file legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence Coordinate and manage attorney calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial schedules Assist with discovery, document production, and case management Maintain electronic and physical case files Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and vendors Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and other materials for hearings and trial preparation Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of litigation legal assistant experience Insurance defense experience is required Strong knowledge of Florida state court filing procedures Experience managing multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Professional development opportunities Collaborative and team-oriented work environment Pay Details: $58,000.00 to $62,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Massachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
