Senior Accountant Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant Consultant to support our accounting and finance team during a period of growth, transition, system implementation, audit preparation, or special projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications Perform detailed balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Analyze financial results and explain variances from budget, forecast, and prior periods Assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP Support external and internal audit requests by preparing schedules and supporting documentation Review and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, and related reconciliations Support revenue recognition, lease accounting, inventory accounting, or cost accounting functions as needed Participate in ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, and data clean-up projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct, JD Edwards, or similar platforms Equal Opportunity Notice Highspring LLC (d/b/a Vaco by Highspring) and its parents, affiliates, and subsidiaries ("we," "our," or "Vaco by Highspring") are committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race (including but not limited to traits historically associated with race such as hair texture and hair style), color, sex (includes pregnancy or related conditions), religion or creed, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, status as a veteran, union membership, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, political affiliation, or any other protected characteristics as required by applicable law.
