Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Saute Chef to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes using saute techniques. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes using saute methods
- Ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Managing and organizing the saute station, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
