Patient Service Center Site Coordinator/Lead Phlebotomist-Naples

Overview Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, helping healthcare providers, researchers, and patients make informed decisions that advance care. We are seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team. This position will coordinate and oversee activities of Patient Service Centers within an assigned area and perform phlebotomy and specimen processing procedures under minimal supervision. Responsibilities Observe and report performance, compliance, or staffing issues to supervisors. Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels, and information logs. Monitor monthly productivity reports and report deviations as necessary. Address customer service-related issues promptly and respectfully. Promote teamwork, cohesiveness, and effective communication among coworkers. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency is required. In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities, and techniques. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Reliable transportation and clean driving record. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
