Phlebotomist Part Time - Winter Springs, FL

Work Schedule 20 hours weekly: every Saturday from 7am–11am and four weekdays on a rotating schedule from 7am–11am. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program. Three months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications One year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must be from an accredited agency. Must be able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
