Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician for a real estate development and property management company in Philadelphia, PA. This individual will support a portfolio of approximately 14 commercial properties, including office spaces, art studios, maker spaces, and other creative-use facilities.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of building or facilities maintenance experience and a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. This person will be responsible for conducting routine property walkthroughs, performing preventative maintenance, identifying facility issues, completing repairs, and communicating findings to management and tenants.\n\nThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a variety of work, operating independently, and supporting multiple commercial properties throughout the city.\n\nDay-to-Day Responsibilities\nPerform scheduled preventative maintenance across multiple commercial properties\nConduct routine building inspections and walkthroughs\nTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems\nComplete general building maintenance tasks and minor repairs\nIdentify potential facility issues and recommend corrective actions\nDocument maintenance findings and communicate updates to management\nRespond to maintenance requests and work orders as needed\nCoordinate with vendors and contractors when necessary\nEnsure properties remain safe, functional, and well-maintained
